The annual Malahide Chamber of Commerce Lunch took place here in the Grand Hotel, Malahide.Over 100 local business people turned up despite the difficult weather.
After an excellent lunch, the guest speaker, Packie Bonner, former Republic of Ireland soccer goalkeeper, gave a humorous and insightful speech. He spoke about the importance of having a clear vision, communicating it well and then following through. He cited many examples of how this has worked in his life and where he has seen it in many of the well known people he has worked with over the years.
Malahide Chamber of Commerce President and Grand Hotel Director Al Ryan said that these are lessons for us all and that together we need to continue to build a strong Chamber giving out a clear and positive message from Malahide.
