Five games into the AFL1 and our local club, St Sylvester’s, are leading the league on points difference.Last week, they had a very convincing win after a slowish start for the senior footballers, shaking off the loss to Mary’s last week.
They had a lot of new faces starting, testament to the strength in depth they have developed in their teams, and seemed to get stronger as the game progressed, completely dominating the second half.
The final score was St. Sylvester’s 2-13 Fingal Ravens 0-7.
