Congratulations to Malahide girls Sinead Aherne and Niamh McEvoy who played for Dublin in yesterday's afternoon's All-Ireland Ladies' Senior Football Championship.Sinead Aherne was Player of the Game with 2-07 (2-04 from play) when Dublin captured their first ever All Ireland Ladies title.
Niamh McEvoy also looked very much at home in Croke Park when she came on in the second half, as did all the Dublin girls.
Both girls play for St. Sylvester's, Malahide.
The final score in Croke Park was Dublin 3-16 and Tyrone 0-09.
