The Ireland senior squad beat their Under-23 counterparts 1-0 in a training match last night, Tuesday, 18th May 2010 in Malahide.Hibernian striker Anthony Stokes' goal was the difference between the sides as Giovanni Trapattoni's side asserted their authority over the youngsters.
The former Sunderland forward met Cillian Sheridan's cut-back outside the box to score midway through the first half.
