Malahide Yacht Club is inviting anyone with an interest in taking up the exciting sport of sailing to have a go in the New Year with its special 'Sailstart' programme.The 12-week introductory adult course, for just €120, shall commence on 21st January 2010 and run until March 2010. The purpose of the course is to give some basic training to novices interested in trying a new activity. Mostly shore-based covering theory, there will also be an opportunity as the course ends to get onto boats for practical sailing experience. At the end of the course, participants will have had a good exposure to the sport, the club and hopefully a range of new friends with whom the 2010 sailings season can be shared and skills developed.
