Museum of Childhood and Tara's Palace

If you are looking for a family friendly activity over the Halloween mid-term break, look no further than the Museum of Childhood and Tara's Palace.

The Museum is located in the beautifully restored old Corn Store building in the courtyard of Malahide Castle. Grandparents and parents love reminiscingwith their children and grandchildren about the toys they played with when they were children. The Museum of Childhood is one of Dublin's 'must see' museums. It is a hidden treasure. Ideal as part of a 'day trip' to Malahide Castle.

Malahide is easily reached by car, bus, or DART. This Halloween the Museum shall be open daily from October 24th to October 31st from 12 midday to 4pm. Come and see their Halloween display. They have a 'Colour a Halloween picture' competition each day, and their 'Halloween Quiz' is great fun for everybody. On Saturday 31st, they shall have face painting. All admission fees are donated to childrens charities. For more information, please visit http://www.taraspalace.ie/
