Arena Pink Ladies V T-Birds Challenge
The Arena Health and Fitness Club recently held a challenge named "Pink Ladies V T-Birds" to finally find out which is the better gender.
In a tight finish the "Pink Ladies" came out on top marginally to inflict a forfeit on the male staff in the Arena. That forfeit was to dress as pink ladies for the day and was met with great amusement from all members of the Arena.
Pictured above with Arena members are Philip Byrne (Assistant Arena Health and Fitness Club Manager), Dmitri Lapidus (Arena Work Experience Student) and Ciaran Foy (Leisure Specialist).

St. Sylvester's Hurlers Reach Leinster Junior Final
Management and Staff at the Grand Hotel would like to wish David Keogh (Lounge Person), Kieran Falvey (Lounge Person) and the rest of the St. Sylvester's team the very best of luck as they face Edenderry in the final of the Leinster Special Junior Hurling Competition on Sunday, 6th December 2009.
Throw in is at 2.15pm on Sunday, December 6 in St. Sylvester's GAA grounds at Broomfield, Malahide. This will be an historic occasion for both sides as it is a first Leinster final appearance for both clubs.
Edenderry shall travel with lots of confidence following their impressive wins already in the competition, however St. Sylvester's are Junior Hurling Champions in Dublin this year and fought a tough drawn quarter final with Rathoath of Meath before easily winning the replay. They then accounted for Greystones in the semi-final on a 1-11 to 0-9 scoreline.
